The Audi 80 was a small executive car produced by the Audi released in 1966 spanning four generations. It was available as a saloon or estate car (known as the Avant) and had engine options of a 2.0-litre, 2.2-litre turbocharged, 2.3-litre, 2.6-litre and 2.8-litre petrol engines and also a 1.9-litre turbo diesel. Trim levels included base, E, E SE, Sport, Sport SE, 16v, SE, S2, TD, TDI and TDI SE. The 80 was the first mass-produced car to have a galvanised steel body helping the bodywork stand up to the elements for longer.
