The Alfa Romeo 75 (named to mark Alfa’s 75th anniversary), is a small executive car released in 1985, designed to replace the Giulietta from which it shares many parts. Using a transaxle set-up, the 75 had near perfect 50:50 weight distribution offering balanced, responsive handling. Power options included 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 litre petrol engines and a 2.0-litre intercooled turbodiesel. The cream of the crop is the V6 model which later in its production came with a 3.0 litre petrol engine producing close to 200bhp.
