The Vauxhall Agila is a versatile city car produced and sold between 2000 to 2015. Named after the Latin Agilis, meaning ‘agile’. The Vauxhall Agila has lived through two generations, both based on the Suzuki Wagon R for the first gen and the Suzuki Splash for the second gen. The first gen (Mk1) was classed as the city car due its smaller size whilst the Mk2 was classed as a mini MPV. Both generations offered a range of petrol and diesel engines with a 5-speed manual gearbox and 6-speed automatic. The Agila was praised for its spacious and well thought out cabin with a good drive quality until it was eventually replaced by the Vauxhall Viva in 2015.
