The Porsche 944 is a timeless classic sports car, roaring off the production line in 1982 to 1991. A front-engined, rear-wheel drive model available in either a coupe or cabriolet body style and a naturally aspirated or turbocharged engine. It was built to replace the 924 and was slightly faster than the 924 and was better equipped. Selling over 163,000 944s, the 944 became Porsche’s most successful car in Porsche history, before the arrival of the Boxster and 997 Carrera.
