The Porsche 928 is a 2 door 2+2 seat luxury grand tourer coupe first released in 1978 running to 1995. It never achieved its target of replacing the 911 but offered better comfort and equipment akin to a high end executive saloon whilst being capable of 170mph! Versions included the GT, GTS, S, S2, S3 and the S4. Power came from V8 petrol engines increasing from an initial 4.5 litres to 5.4 litres in 1986.
