A crossover utility vehicle produced by the Japanese car manufacturer since 1985 and was originally based upon Nissan’s existing pickup truck platform. In terms of size, the Pathfinder was built to fill the gap between the Murano and Armada in the Nissan vehicle line-up. The Nissan Pathfinder is now in its fourth generation, although the third generation (R51 series) is the only one to be made available to the UK. The R51 Series was produced between 2004 – 2014 and was a fully redesigned version of its predecessors and took the Pathfinder worldwide, becoming available internationally rather than focused in North America and Japan. It was also the first model to introduce a third row of seats to the inside of the Pathfinder.
