The Lotus Esprit is a two door, two seater sports which ran between 1976 and 2004. In the 80’s and 90’s, low, wedge shaped sports cars were the order of the day and the Esprit certainly fits that mould. The first cars became known as “Series 1" (S1) then came the "Series 2" (S2) released in 1978, “Series 3” (S3) in 1981, X180 in 1987 and finally the “series 4” (S4) in 1993. The iconic Esprit was helped to fame when the S1 used in the James Bond movie, The Spy Who Loved Me.
