A compact MPV launched in 1999, the Kia Carens is now in its third generation and fits nicely into Kia’s range of superbly reliable, functional vehicles over the last decade. During its lifespan, the Kia Carens has undergone two major facelifts to cater to new technologies and tastes as well as trying to step out of the shadow of the bigger, more popular Sedona. Kia kept things simple in the first generation with a single 1.8 L petrol engine and 2.0 L diesel engine, they did introduce a five-seater and a more flexible seven-seater variant.
