The Fiat 132 was a five seater, four door, executive saloon released in 1972 as a replacement for the successful 125.
Like the 125, the 132 came with a five speed gear box and two power options, 1.6 litre and 1.8 litre petrol engines.
In response to the criticism of its handling, the front suspension was upgraded as part as an update in 1974, along with rear shock absorbers, wider tyres and various interior upgrades. The 1.8 engine received a boost with an improved cylinder head.
In 1977, the 132 received a further facelift, receiving new plastic safety bumpers, power steering and a new dash.
