The Dodge Avenger is a four door family saloon car released in the UK in 2007.
The Avenger served as an interesting alternative to the usual four door saloon offerings of the time, including the Ford Mondeo, Honda Accord, Toyota Avensis and the VW Passat.
The name is a little misleading, sparking thoughts of an all American, fire breathing muscle car, whereas the Avenger is actually a practical family saloon car with frugal four cylinder engines, similar to the models mentioned above.
These engine choices took the form of 2.0 litre and 2.4 litre petrol engines and a 2.0 lire diesel unit made by Volkswagen.
