Current Registration System
The two numbers in the middle of the registration state the year:
The first number will be a 1/5/6.
If it is a 1, it is registered between March and September: If it is a 5/6, the vehicle is registered after September and before March.
The second number states the year:
For example KC63 KFF was registered between Sept 2013 and March 2014.

Prefix Registration System
Vehicles registered pre 2001 are subject to a prefix and suffix system. The most common is prefix. The first letter represents the year the car was registered.
For example, M673 SWP was registered in 1994.

How to fit / replace a Ford Fiesta Mk7 Wing Mirror Indicator


Here are the instructions to fit Ultimate Styling wing mirror indicator to your Ford Fiesta Mk7. You will have to remove the wing mirror cover and therefore glass. Please see our other fitting guides on how to do this.

Follow these instructions to fit the part yourself. However, Ultimate Styling can’t be held responsible for any damage during fitment.

There is no need to remove the wing mirror from your car.

Please wear PPE

Overview:

  1. Once the wing mirror cover has been removed, carefully pry the clip out of position and pull the indicator out.
  2. Detach the mirror indicator connector
  3. Reattach the new indicator connector
  4. Make sure the side of the indicator is lined up with the side of he mirror unit and then the clip.
  5. Push firmly until it clicks
  6. Replace the over and wipe the glass to get rid of any marks.
