Get in touch with us on our Facebook to tell us\nyour favourite!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>BMW\nE60 M5<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"274\" height=\"182\" src=\"\/car-parts-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/bmw-E60-M5.jpg\" alt=\"BMW E60 M5\" class=\"wp-image-1961\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The E60 M5 was more of a crazy saloon than a super saloon. The generic super saloon recipe often features a V8, just like the previous generation M5 did, however that wasn\u2019t enough for BMW. Instead they fitted a 5.0 V10 to their <a href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\\bmw-5-series-parts\">5 Series<\/a> on steroids! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With flared arches and four tailpipes, the M5 was noticeably beefier than the 5 Series in which it was based on. The S85 engine produced 500bhp and could send the car from 0-60 in just 4.7 seconds, however many people quote figures closer to 4 seconds flat! Not bad for a car with 520 litres of boot space!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"clearfix\"><\/div>&nbsp;&nbsp;\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Alfa\nRomeo Guilia Quadrifoglio <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"274\" height=\"183\" src=\"\/car-parts-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Alfa-Romeo-Guilia-Quadrifoglio.jpg\" alt=\"Alfa Romeo Guilia Quadrifoglio\" class=\"wp-image-1963\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Without a doubt, the prettiest car on this list. The Quadrifoglio blew managed to knock the BMW M3 from the top spot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With its Ferrari derived twin-turbocharged V6, the Alfa produces 503bhp and manages the 0-60 run in an eye watering 3.9 seconds. Yours from \u00a362,000. Although a smaller saloon, the Alfa features a 480-litre boot which is identical to its rivals from Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"clearfix\"><\/div>&nbsp;&nbsp;\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>BMW\nM3 Competition <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"274\" height=\"183\" src=\"\/car-parts-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/bmw-M3-competition.jpg\" alt=\"BMW M3 Competition\" class=\"wp-image-1972\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>It wouldn\u2019t beat right the have a list of super saloons without mentioning one of the greats. Based on the <a href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\\bmw-3-series-parts\">3-series<\/a>, The BMW M3 has been around since 1985. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Powered by an inline 4 cylinder, inline 6 cylinder, a V8 and a twin turbo charged inline 6, the BMW has been providing thrills and precision for over 3 decades. Before the F80 variant came along in 2014, BMW had produced just under quarter of a million M3\u2019s! The F80 M3 ceased production in 2018 with many of the final cars featuring the competition pack! The competition pack upped the power to 444bhp and a revised suspension set up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"clearfix\"><\/div>&nbsp;&nbsp;\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\n<strong>Vauxhall\nLotus Carlton<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"274\" height=\"182\" src=\"\/car-parts-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Vauxhall-Lotus-Carlton.jpg\" alt=\"Vauxhall Omega - Carlton\" class=\"wp-image-1974\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The oldest car on the list but by far one of the craziest. It doesn\u2019t have the 500-horse power of the E60 M5, nor is it as luxurious as the BMW M3. It isn\u2019t styled as beautifully as the Alfa Romeo, but what the Carlton does have up its sleeve is the element of surprise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although based on a boring <a href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\\vauxhall-carlton-parts\">Vauxhall Carlton<\/a>\/<a href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\\vauxhall-omega-parts\">Omega<\/a>, this one had been tweaked by <a href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\\lotus-parts\">Lotus<\/a>. Producing 377bhp form is 3.6 litre twin turbocharged engine, the Carlton could do 0-60 in 5.2 seconds, a super car killer in its day. There\u2019s no wonder the Lotus Carlton became thief\u2019s car of choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"clearfix\"><\/div>&nbsp;&nbsp;\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Audi\nC6 RS6<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"274\" height=\"182\" src=\"\/car-parts-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Audi-C6-RS6.jpg\" alt=\"Auidi A6 C6 RS6\" class=\"wp-image-1977\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the <a href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\\audi-a6-parts\">Audi A6<\/a>, The C6 RS6 was the last RS6 to be found in a saloon variant. Audi launched the RS6 two years after the release of the E60 M5, it\u2019s direct rival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, what did they do? Well a V10 to match was a must. So, they built a 5.0 V10 just like BMW. But the top trump came in the form of twin turbochargers. This meant the RS6 produced 570bhp giving it a 0-60 of 4.5 seconds! The RS6 had aggressive styling over the standard A6 with arches that made the BMW M5 look tame!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"clearfix\"><\/div>&nbsp;&nbsp;\n\n\n\n<p>What\u2019s your favourite super saloon listed here?
